The range starts with PALOMA BAY, a Super 100's Wool blended with Kid Mohair and Cashmere. This is followed by MONTEREY BAY, a SUPER 100's with 30% Kid Mohair. The two qualities are available in an attractive range of light summery stripes, as well as elegant darker designs and plains. CANNES provides a composition of 50% Kid Mohair blended with cool Linen and Silk, which emphasise the noble appearance of the Mohair. This brand new collection contains three different qualities: The first part consists of a reliable Super 130's quality made in England, available in 14 very fancy micro-designs and stripes in different ranges of light shades. The second part presents a light Wool and Silk quality in sophisticated stripe designs. A colour range of natural beige, cool blue and stone grey emphasises the summery character of the cloth. But also darker shades like classical navy, anthracite, brown and black are available in fancy designs. The lustre of the silk gives them an unmistakable elegance. The third part is made up of a luxury Super 150's quality in two different weights. Already in Greek mythology fine Wools were considered a treasure worth fighting for and it required the daring and ingenuity of Jason to slay the dragon that jealously guarded the Golden Fleece. That the Golden Fleece should stand for the highest honours was also recognized by Philip the Good, Duke of Burgundy who created the order of the Toison d'Or with a winged ram. Eventually the order passed to the Hapsburgs and it was the privilege of the great Emperor Charles V in whose reign the sun never set to award this high distinction. With such heritage no effort was spared by Scabal to develop Toison d'Or as a cloth that would live up the highest expectations. The collection in a fine Super 150's Wool is divided into two parts. The first one offers a clear cut quality in 260g. The very fine sophisticated stripes emphasise the exclusive character of the cloth. Especially the satins close to the end project a precious appearance. The second consists of a Super 150's Wool quality blended with Cashmere in 280g and a soft milled finish. "Discreet elegance" describes the collection and are also the key words for the new season.
TRIPLE A

TRIPLE A, or AAA, is an established wool classification, used for several decades in Western Europe to classify a certain high-grade selection of wools. A collection produced using British craftsmanship has gained the title of Triple A. A full-bodied cloth of superfine Super 120's wool with the additional luxurious natural fibre of cashmere, its full handle gives exceptional wearing properties and the elegance is illustrated in its looks, touch and drape. This new collection has a range of fancy designs as well as a large selection of classics.
